Helena Acosta

I’m Helena Acosta—a mother, and art and well-being curator. I work with community, art and playful experiences and workshops that boost connection, and unleash creativity. With over a decade of experience in art and activism, I’ve curated exhibitions in cities like Caracas, New York, Tokyo, and Barcelona. As an immigrant and single mother, creativity has been my lifeline, guiding me through challenges and sparking personal transformation. My Creative Workshops approach to share and grow our cultural understanding of the world, improve mental well-being, inspire social emotional growth in building  communities and boost productivity in the workplace. In 2021, I founded Jax Little Art, a pop-up studio where children and adults explore their creativity through collaborative and relaxing workshops. I am the founder of The Creative Club Jax, a monthly gathering to share and celebrate the transformative and healing power of creative expressions. Held at local venues, each session features diverse artists discussing how creative expression serves as a powerful healing tool. Join me to discover the power of creativity and mindfulness!
